Spiritual whisper....
Keep smiling. That was the advice. Keep riding...keep doing what you doing and everything else will fall into place. There is no place for evil and unjust. "The world is balance young star." Today's pitfalls will not keep you down tomorrow. It is how swiftly you rise up above it. God has a master plan, when you question the series of events in your life and worry, you leave no room for the magic and boutiful blessings to take place. Why pray? If worry dominates your present. Be faithful....have faith and work. Do what you were sent here to do. Stand out from the rest. Leave an impression. It is not enough to be good but aim to be GREAT. Great things are born from greatness. Why settle? Why accept the hand you was given...add on to it and make it a royal flush. Every resource you ever needed you already have it. Give the ultimate thanks for every single living thing you have in your life. Key word...living thing. If it is non-living, it is dead. Therefore your material possessions do not equate to the joy that you should feel when you breathe. Take joy in your relationships with those who share your good times. Take joy in your children. Take joy in the trees as they assist in the breeze that cools your beautiful frame. Take joy in the plant that sits in your windowseal bringing life into your home. Take joy in the fruits and vegetables that you eat to nourish your body. Take joy in the wonderful words spoken to you by someone who loves you. Whatever you do...DO not take love for granted. If someone tells you they love you and they show you then they mean it. Believe it. Do not treat the precious gift of love like an enemy. Embrace it and pay it forward. Be of love. Be of light, and make the decision to be happy EVERYDAY.

Proactive approach.
What is something you want to do but you just aren't doing at the moment? If you can answer this then fear is present in your life. There are so many things that we are put on this mission to do and GOD has the script. He places people, things and experiences in your life to shape you into doing exactly what he sent you to do. The funny thing is we choose to ignore the gut feeling that nags at your heart, we choose to ignore our passions, intuitions and dreams because we believe they are far much too great or we will create an excuse as to why we can't do it at the moment.
I say that all of that is nonsense! This is a story that you have told yourself for years and you have now begun to believe it. There is a freedom that unleashes when you finally decide to LIVE and DO what you want. Some people look at this, as being selfish, because you have centered your motivations around what makes YOU happy, but in essence, this is needed if you are to share your life with anyone. We must be able to embrace the humanism power of pro activeness and commit to being greater!
I know a few people with amazing God given talent and they are doing absolutely nothing with it. I knew from a child that my gift lied in my ability to communicate and speak to others. I would sit in my mothers room for hours acting as if I had a class in front of me. I was 9 years old and did not know, that I was practicing for the career that I am now in. I also know that teaching is not what I will be doing forever and that I will take my ability to speak, touch and inspire people to a greater level and that is my ultimate goal. God knowing that I am in tuned with my gift he will allow it to manifest and place the people, places, and experiences there, I just need to openly embrace and recognize it. That is why we all should pray for the power of discernment.
We all have this ability, and we allow distractions to occur in our life on a daily basis to keep us from attaining it. I have reached the point where if something or someone does not serve a positive purpose in my life then I must get rid of it. I have learned to take responsibility for the energy I create and surround myself around. If you do not do these things, and you keep negative people and influences in your circle, unconsciously they will keep you from achieving your greatness.
Love is one of the most important aspects of ones life and it is something we all want. Do not be afraid to embrace love or be with the ones you love because the lesson will be hard and hurt later. Stop over thinking everything and allowing your fear of failure, and what "might" be, to keep the gift of love away in your life.
We are not promised tomorrow and if you have today spend it being of service to someone else, say things that uplift, be with the ones you love and make your mark.
LIVE ON PURPOSE....The time is NOW! Today is a great day to start!

Gift of GAB
Sometimes I am truly in awe by the people that come into my life and how it happens. It is a magical process. A process that assures me that GOD is always in the midst and his vision is crystal clear. I have to trust in that, never second guessing that the encounters that I experience no matter how big or small are truly for me. I love it! I breathe it. I give life to the newness.
Some folks literally have the gift of lifting me off my feet and inspiring the holy crap out of me! That is nothing but the power of GOD and my good energy attracting it to me. I recently was inspired by this young cat who does poetry. Usually when you are a PYT it is hard to meet a man and it just be that. A man will try to kick his game, lick his lips, and sell you a dream about why you and him need to be the next Michelle and Barack. (right)....
Well it just wasn't that vibe. Dude was really inspiring. He is a poet and the words and the messages that he could formulate in his brain and transfer to paper was amazing. I, of course was truly touched by this in more ways than one because I am a writer FIRST. I love the way words transcend beyond the moment. It captivates me...it lifts me and for one moment I can see your mind not the flesh in front of me. I can feel your spirit and I sniff out your soul.
Words can touch us in ways that are indescribable. I was once told that I would be "unstoppable" if I always practiced what I wrote. Why?, because when I write I am of another dimension. I am truly one with my passion. I am love abundant. I am at peace. I am me....perfect in my imperfections.
One thing I do know is I am flawed. We all are, but how beautiful it is to be in acknowledgment of that and be conscious in your progress to correct it.
GOD bless that man that I speak of, who so eloquently writes his poetry. Planting his seeds of wisdom and fruit for us to savor. He does not know how much I enjoyed his piece of writing and the funny thing is....who is to say I will express how much it meant to my being when I read it. This post was my "pay it forward." What a beauty it is to be on the receiving end of creative energy. Arts...humanity. I have been blessed!

Have your OWN back. "Get your life".
Being one. Being whole. Being complete, just with who you are is an important part of growth, development and the ability to be able to embrace the future you want and desire. Sometimes we think too much about other people and what they want. We put ourselves and what makes us happy second and in the end we wonder why we are still miserable, upset and not happy.
My Nana used to say "You came in this world alone....and you will eventually go out alone." You are with you all the time, every second of the day, yet sometimes we treat ourselves like a second class citizen. Some would argue that it is a selfish state of mind to think of yourself and your needs before someone else, but I beg to differ. At the end of it all, if you cannot make you happy and please you, then who will?
Learn to be honest with yourself and accept the realities that are in your life. Today you may not have all that you want but learn to be grateful for what you do have and know that all you need is what you have in front of you today.
We put so much focus and worry on our tomorrow's when they are not yet in existence. We have to learn to be present in our moments and give all we have to the realities that exist. If you want a better job or position, do the BEST damn job you can do with the one you currently have and make an effort to get another one each day. If you want more from your spouse or mate, learn to validate them and love them fully and give them your all today so that you are leading by example of how you would like your love to feel. If you want to make more money then do everything possible right now to secure the future you want.
Every decision, every thought, every action we make right NOW is determining the future we will have. Choose your thoughts, company,and actions wisely and constantly ask yourself...Is it aligned with my purpose and the future I would like? If the answer is ever "No"....then don't do it...no matter WHO does not like it. You come first. When you are happy, when you can love and when you are at one...that is the only time you can effectively give of yourself to someone else.
Love ...Live...Purposeful.

2012...We've been waiting for you....
The beginning...the start.....the top.....of each year is always exciting. It gives people a chance to profess from their mouth all the goals and aspirations they will look to achieve, or make right with what they fell short of the year before. Regardless of how rightfully silly it truly is because nothing magical will occur at 12 am of each first of the year....it is a positive action being taken.
The main thing I think all can benefit from is the art of being proactive. Taking the initiative to DO. It sounds so simple but we all struggle to put the walking to our talking at times. This is the year of action. The question should be "what are you actually doing that is aligned with god's purpose for your life"? During times we live in, it is crucial that everyone get centered and focused. Have a purpose driven life. Behind every action that you take, think critically about it first and then make a move. Don't just move, don't just say that hurtful thought. Take time to consider the person you are speaking with and how it may be received. Bathe yourself in love for yourself and naturally it will come out and cleanse the ones around you. Force yourself to remove all the jealous and envious thoughts that cross your mind. It is not pure and will only keep you from focusing on what is really important.
Stop wasting time around those who are not of your wave length. Just as signals get switched on devices from bad reception, so will ours when we expose ourselves to a certain "reception" of folks. You have to be responsible for the people you allow in your life and in your inner circle. You truly will be the average of the 5 closest people to you. So take that seriously and guard the information, thoughts and energy you allow in that space. If things start to seem off and out of control it is only you to look to as to why. You are responsible for the energy you give out and what you take in.
Interesting I was watching this program this morning and it was discussing the way our heart has a direct connection to our brain. In other words whatever we are feeling in our heart will translate to our brains and will then push out thoughts, actions and emotions into our world and the people around us. Therefore it is in our best interest to LOVE as much as we can because it will be manifested in our DOINGS. If you are harboring anger, resentment, hate, jealousy, bitterness or negativity in your heart it will show up in all that you DO. Unfortunately you will come up short and you will be losing. The key is to keep your heart pure, clean, positive, happy, grateful , thankful, humble and honest....HONEST. This is very important for your actions to follow suit.
Our thoughts and emotions will determine how we ACT in this world and what we will do. We limit all we can do when we limit our thinking and keep it in the negative space, therefore limiting how far we can go. This year make the conscious decision and effort to go FAR and to DO more. Move me with your actions not your words... :)

Inspiration fart...A cappella .
Because....when the wind blows past my brown skin....it cools me. For a second I can almost feel the same exact sensation that is you. When things are right...they are right....time stands still. Moments go on forever. Raindrops beating....making a symphony in my heart. I love the sound. It reminds me of you. What can happen when two kindred spirits are so far apart yet seem so close? Riddle me that?
Just as two snowflakes are never alike....so are our experiences. We all carry a magic, a blueprint, a story. Do you want to read my pages? Would you like to find out the theme? Can you handle the message? I warn you I may be too much. What is life without a little risk? We all can't be so calculated in all we do. It would turn out to be boring....keep it brand new...fresh. SURPRISE...me. I don't mind a little unpredictability. I can appreciate it. Can you?
What motivates you? Can you articulate your heart's desires? I can. I can materialize anything if I put enough focus...FOCUS....ATTENTION...I've learned that if you want to do anything RIGHT the secret is the unbroken flow of attention that characterizes your peak performance. So...what does that mean? Well if you ever failed at something it's definitely because you were not giving it your UNDIVIDED attention. yup....you split it up with something else....you had your mind every place else but where it was supposed to be. Your focus had a mistress....it wasn't faithful to the mission.
Move on...press on young chocolate. You are a force to be reckoned with. Don't let them tell you nothing less. That is the magic in life...in the trials...in the tribulations...it helps you to grow....it forces you to open your eyes and wake up. It demands you to show up to the occasion and BE what you are destined to be! Be all that you can my love! Keep flying...get what you deserve and NOTHING less...you seen to many settle for less. I know it all to well. God is here next to me....we on this journey ...me and him...he and I. Let the show commence......

Detour....take local. Enjoy the scenery
Love is one of those things that when you open yourself up you take a serious risk. You put it all on the line and in the end you may get screwed. The best thing to do is to just be honest and open with yourself and your feelings. If you love something and you have tried your best and it just won't give you anything in return then it is best to let it alone.
The most important love is Self love. It is the most important love that exists and you have to have that for yourself FIRST. If you continue loving something or someone that puts no deposit into your spirit and soul then you are losing and you are selling yourself short. In addition, you truly do not know your own worth.
We all are a work in progress and we all develop into our blossoming flowers in our own due time. Patience is Godly. We cannot look for things to happen for us when we want them to. We can not expect people to be the way we want them to and we can not rush the blessings that God has in store. They will come when they naturally are supposed to. Continue to trust in the ebb of the universe and the power of positive thinking. Have faith in the things and people that you truly love and allow life and time to prepare the fruit that is still ripening.
Maturity does not come with age. Some people aren't equipped to see the beauty that is in front of them. In addition, sometimes there are so many toxic influences and people in their ear who want what they have, that they can't discern what is the best thing for them.
God never puts more on us then we can bear. Sometimes the load can feel crippling but what I know for sure is you are NEVER alone. God is always in the midst and you will never fail if you keep that at the forefront. Never give up on the ones you believe in and never give up on yourself.
